Shreta is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A). Prior to Counsel for Hope, She worked for 23 years with incarcerated individuals at South Carolina Department of Corrections. Shreta also worked with special needs individuals with intellectual disabilities at Chesco Services for 9 years. She was fortunate to grasp the internal needs of these two great agencies by utilizing professional skills to include counseling, crisis intervention, and group therapy.
Her internships include Regency Southern Care Inc. in Chesterfield S.C., and Heart of Hospice in Columbia S.C. She received her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Coker College in Hartsville S.C. Then received her master's degree in Social Work from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My professional life includes a commitment to serving the needs of individuals, children, and married couples as an agent of support and guidance.

Connor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A). He has experience working with forensics patients and working in child advocacy. His specialization is working with individuals who suffer from anxiety and depression. While working in forensics as an intern, he completed duties such as running therapeutic groups for patients and participating in treatment teams. During his internship at a child advocacy center, he shadowed a forensic interview specialist and assisted them with various tasks, observed forensic interviews and took detailed notes of alleged child abuse cases, read patient casework and entered intake information into NCATrak system, and participated in training on how to respond to child abuse and neglect. He has over three years of experience working with youth at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club of Greater Milwaukee who dealt with behavioral problems and various traumas. It was his job to lead children through various recreational, educational, creative activities and programs to encourage their social development and create a safe and welcoming environment. He is a graduate from the University of South Carolina where he received his Master of Social Work (MSW) along with receiving his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Carroll University (In Waukesha, WI.).

Chris is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and have been practicing for over 19 years with individuals who have been going through a broad range of concerns including excessive worrying, depression, stress management, trauma, career development, behavioral concerns, child-parent interactions, grief and loss, relationship issues, life/work balance, and overall wellness.
Difficulties and pain are both part of the human experience. Her approach is described as goal oriented, and client centered. She primarily uses Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Both modalities involve practical approaches to problem-solving. Additionally, Dr. Mann uses Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). She understands that seeking help can feel very vulnerable. Exploring the healing process or enriching one’s personal growth, first and foremost, requires establishing a trusting and emotionally supportive relationship. Change is not easy, but it is possible, and Chris looks forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Cindy received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and graduated with Distinction from Capella University where she received her MS in Human Services with a Specialization in Counseling Studies. Cindy is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC), Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP), and a Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI).
Cindy works with individuals using behavioral therapies, especially Moral Resonation Therapy (MRT). Helping individuals to make positive change using their moral reasoning with the goal of living a healthy, productive lifestyle. Cindy has been working with the adult criminal justice system for 16 years, providing group and individual therapy helping those that suffer from addiction. Cindy also has experience working with individuals in medication-assisted treatment programs.

John received an MBA from Elon University and a MA in Counseling Marriage Family Therapy from Liberty University
John’s clinical background includes working with clients from 4 years old and older at multiple agencies, a church counseling setting, and residential facility with Carolina’s Health Care System. He works with adults, couples, teens, children (4 years +), and families. John approaches each client uniquely and creatively based on their individual strengths and challenges. He specializes in Trauma work and uses EMDR among other strategies.
