Christina Mann, Therapist (Accepting Clients)

Christina Mann PhD, NCC, CRC, BCBA-D, LBA, LCMHC

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina and have been practicing for over 19 years with individuals who have been going through a broad range of concerns including excessive worrying, depression, stress management, trauma, career development, behavioral concerns, child-parent interactions, grief and loss, relationship issues, life/work balance, and overall wellness.

Difficulties and pain are both part of the human experience. I would describe my approach as goal oriented and client centered. I primarily use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Both modalities involve practical approaches to problem-solving. I additionally use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I understand that seeking help can feel very vulnerable. Exploring the healing process or enriching one’s personal growth, first and foremost, requires establishing a trusting and emotionally supportive relationship. Change is not easy, but it is possible, and I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Ama Adusei, Mediciation Management Children - Adult (Accepting Clients)

Ama, Adusei, MMS, PA-C,

I love working with patients of all ages. My motto is “the patient knows whats best for them”. I like to see medication management as a partnership process. What’s best for my patient is best for me.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Bio-behavioral Health at Pennsylvania State University with a minor in Health Policy Administration. I continued my education and ultimately completed my Physician Assistant degree and Masters in Medical Science with a dual degree program from Miami-Dade College and Saint Francis University. I have experience working as a hospitalist in an inpatient psychiatric facility, outpatient psychiatric clinic, as a hospitalist PA on general medical units, and as a Neurohospitalist PA.

I believe my experience allows me to treat the patient as a whole rather than focusing on just one facet of the patient. I look forward to working with you or your child!

She has experience in applied behavioral analysis in youth with autism, inpatient behavioral medicine, rural outpatient psychiatry, and residential substance abuse treatment. As a PA, she works in urgent care, primary care, and psychiatry where she treats a plethora of physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
